Welcome to historic Case-Halstead Public Library, the City Library of Carlyle, Illinois.  Case-Halstead was established in 1938 at the original location on this lot in the historic Case Family home. In 2014, the new building was built to continue expanding the information horizons of Carlyle and the surrounding areas.

Case-Halstead Public Library is dedicated to providing high-quality information resources and value-added programming to the local area. Please come on in today and stop by the main desk to see all that CHPL has to offer!
